11 weeks, 3 days (a baby bump!)

My first major rite of passage in my pregnancy happened last weekend: I started showing. I was surprised at how quick the baby bump showed up. One day I felt bloated; the next day I felt...full of baby! I can feel my uterus enlarged right above my pubic bone. It feels like pressing on a full bladder. Speaking of which, I always have one of those!!!

My pregnancy has still been very uneventful. I'm still unbearably tired most of the time, but I haven't had any nausea and vomiting, which I'm very grateful for. I'm very much looking forward to my second trimester; I've heard it's the best of the three. And Jason and I will get to find out the sex of this litter critter! We're calling it Peanut Jr. (since my nickname is Peanut) for now; I can't wait to name it for real. We have several boys' names that we like, but we're stumped on girl names. Suggestions are welcomed!

Well, since it's about my naptime (or bedtime...ha!), I'll leave you all with a new ultrasound picture. In the picture, Peanut is facing down, legs curled up, with his/her head resting on his/her chest.
